Under the Rays of the Goddess – Souls immersed in Kalas

So, very good news here from the burgeoning temple group in the north of the UK. Today, under the glow of the moon, the commencement of the formal training of two initiates, and one dedicant began. Whilst the coven here has been carrying out workings since the winter solstice of last year, this marks the commencement of actual teaching independent of the coven rites of celebration and practical witchcraft.

It is a great honor to be able to work with these dedicated individuals. They who have throughout all their time knowing me personally, have shown themselves to be people who will not fall short of the tasks ahead of them. The first matter of course will be teaching the basics and essentials of witchcraft, before easing them into the work contained within Queen of Hell and the temple specific stellar work. The work, formulated mainly on open exercises to help tailor it to the individuals progress, I expect to be of much benefit to them. Putting this together has, and is quite difficult, as I try to both guide but also not dictate – something important in the Primal Craft ethos of teaching. I look forward massively to seeing how things develop for our tight knit group.

In addition, personal circumstances have also opened further ways of working in the wilds. Places that are beyond warm and cosy rooms, that accelerate the work and provide direct access to the gods and spirits of the craft in Their World. One such location is primed for potential further outer gateway work. I am very excited to see where those possibilities take us in the near future.

Work with spirits of land and plant familiars also return to the coven power that was stolen and appropriated during the lockdowns. This will allow for the full return of connection to powerful genius loci, allowing its energy to flow unheeded despite the weak wills of others who seek to interfere with the craft of the wise to their own detriment.

It was also this week that there was an announcement from the Mother Temple of a new edition of Queen of Hell, containing previously out of print material as well as new essays to further expand on the original content. This has been awaited by many people – such material seen in earlier anthologies such as Devoted (I believe) finally being placed back within the Primal Craft umbrella and back in print. This will be of much help to ALOT of people – and ironically comes at a perfect syncretic time for my own group providing information with working with this material – this will be invaluable in ensuring that, on my end, nothing is missed as I facilitate learning the material and polish off my own training.

I didn’t intend to originally make this post, but the synchronicity was such I felt it would be nice to share a small update, as well as to assist the important dissemination of the work. May those who feel threatened by the success of Hecates Primal Current be silenced by the material, which speaks for itself. I feel highly blessed, and privileged, to be surrounded by Devotees who love and immerse themselves in this current!

I have been aware for quite some time that many of you would like to acquire the now long out of print essays – those detailing the path and giving overviews of my own work, as well as those which grant a greater understanding of not only my own journey, but the Path of Flames as a whole. For a time, a separate volume containing these and other works was considered. However, a book solely containing such work, without actual ritual application, did not sit well with anyone at the Mother Temple. What we needed was a suitable vessel in which to ensorcel these now out of print works.

In considering the above I did also take note that many people are unable to find a space on the Inner Subscriber Deluxe database.The deluxe solander boxed, millboard-bound books are made with the finest and most expensive materials in the publishing world. Added to that, many people, although they would like to, are unable to pay 600 Euros for such a book.

To that end we wished to create something that was both different, very special, and also a higher calibre than our standard Devotee Editions (classed by many as deluxe level in their own right) but considerably more affordable than the 600 euro 24 Carat Gold Leaf Super Deluxes of which there are normally only 36 copies.

The important aspect was reintroducing the out of print work within the Primal Craft fold and, of course, releasing it in devotional hand-bound Grimoires. During communion with Hecate, the instruction to create The Special Limited Enthroned Beyond Akasha Editions was received. The Stars of the Hunter: The Constellation Orion

Going into the new year has been a powerful time here, bringing many changes to my mundane life for the better. I truly feel blessed by my Gods, who have made themselves known in sometimes frighteningly, powerful ways on the physical plane as of late in the strength of signs and synchronicities sent forth.  It is hard to talk of the love and appreciation I have for them, and what they have brought me these last few months, so ill suffice to say I finally feel the previous trials have borne their fruit in their entirety. This has put me in a good place for forthcoming work in 2019 – which will involve again, some strict theurgic work to open the next set of stellar pillars.

Surgat has finally been contacted over these last few months, and successful pact has been entered. This will be sealed by taking his mark over the coming weeks – at which point the correct empowerment and protection will be in place to open his lock on the Ivory Path. I am heavily looking forward to kick starting this process – hoping to work through this quickly and then by summer, have Lucifer’s stellar pillar fully opened. This should hopefully pave the way for the work with Belial, the spirits of the stellar caverns, the Ivory Spider and finally, of what is making itself known as the rite of ‘lesser whirlpool’. Full understanding of this process will be unveiled in time, as  individual works are completed, which should allow for rapid assimilation of the dependent gnosis.

One of the side affects of this work is expanding awareness of the great stellar spirits that ply their way through the heavens. Greater knowledge of the stars reveals just how much has been lost, from a magickal perspective, in regards to knowledge of working with these entities. Even old magickal systems that are often relied on, whilst arguably more dependable than modern systems, are also shown to be greatly lacking – most of them being invented thousands of years after the majority of the truly wondrous stellar magickal lore was lost.

In many cases, the stars became subservient to the planets or worse. This is strongly demonstrated by modern astrology – taken to extremes in popular, shallow, banal sun sign fixation – which has withered to the point of being unusable outside of as a dubious self help tool. Here, Alan Leo and the Theosophical Society have a lot to answer for.

These systems would have been entirely alien to the stellar priests of the past, where the stars were exalted as powerful beings of their own whose portents could be read to accurately predict the streams of fate and complement soul travel through the heavens.

There is a rather good article on this, that can be found here by Ida C. Benedetto, which covers this in some detail. My own goal with this entry is a little different.

What is important from a modern stellar gnosis perspective is direct contact with these entities where possible. To be able to accomplish this, one must have an appreciation and knowledge of the physical structures on which our Magick is based. Thus, we must turn away from overly abstract, simplified models back to complex and deep investigations that lead to a living star praxis.

One of the greatest collections of Stellar Entities and Formations, can be found in the constellation of Orion, which is a great starting point to investigate this expansive field. Being one of the most easily recognised constellations, it is a veritable powerhouse of stellar power than lies along the celestial equator making it visible throughout the world. The picture below shows Orion in incredible detail, including several important deep sky objects. Learning about this area of space would be of great benefit to someone who hopes to gain Stellar Gnosis and work it into their practice.

The ‘main’ stars that make up the constellation are full of power and history. The top most star, an orange giant named Betelgeuse, is very dominant. Betelgeuse is expected, within the short stellar timeframe of two million years, to explode as a giant supernova. Going clockwise, we have Bellatrix in the top right, Rigel in the bottom right, and then Saiph in the bottom left. The belt asterism is made up of the stars Altinak, Alnilam, and Mintaka.

Below, a basic table of the statistics of these stars are displayed along with relevant links to further information on their physical makeup. It should be noted that some of these stars are in fact binary stars – meaning that the system is in fact made up of two stars in close orbit, that appears as one point in the sky. This has an effect on the energies that are drawn through when working with them.

Orion, is traditionally associated with the huntsman of the same name from Hellenic Myth. Plenty of other cultures have a similar, martial theme to describe mythologically this constellation, and the surrounding stellar structures. Personal experience has led me to utilise these stars in powerful rites of stellar purification and earthing – in fact they played a major role in the ritual to earth Lucifer’s stellar energies, and uproot the entity from the cursed earth that was encountered in earlier workings detailed on this blog.  Specific gnosis shows indeed, Betelgeuse is the ruler of this constellation, when they are worked together, with Alnilam being the lens and mediator in which its power is directed down into the constructed stellar gates.

This current is incredibly electrifying – of such benefic power that it really does bend the mind to experience it. When directed in the name of Hecate, Lucifer, Belial and the Lord of the Dark Star, it can be used to create stellar anchor points of such strength, drawing in a quickening and empowering current into the flesh of the Earth. This is something i hope to detail in full at some point in the future – this ritual, that was the sealing of Lucifer’s promise and gift of the Phoenix fire. The amount of energy that is able to be channelled should not be surprising – with this being an active, physical birthing ground of new stars in the many deep sky nebulae that can be observed here. Here, the hearts of new stars are forged, within the winding strands of the Orion, Horsehead and Flame Nebulas that make up the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex.

Orion is also a useful pointer to other, powerful stars in that region of the sky. This can be of most use to a witch making use of stellar power.

Firstly, Orion’s belt points to both Sirius and Aldebaran. Sirius is the brightest star in the night’s sky, and as part of Canis Major, is also known as the Dog Star. This has long been considered to be ‘Orion’s Dog’, that follows him through the sky. The Greeks believed it to have a baleful influence on dogs, driving them to frenzy. This is contrasted by Persian star lore, which assigns Sirius to Tishtrya, a divinity of rain, fertility, and the antagonist of the demon of drought.

To the opposite end indicated by the belt, is the star Aldebaran, one of the Persian Royal Stars, which lies in the constellation of Taurus. In this system Aldebaran was seen as the Watcher of the East.  The Persian Royal Stars were seen as the Guardian of the Skies, and were made up of Aldebaran, Fomalhaut, Antares and Regulus. The implications here for those who are clued up on the identity of the Princes of the Quarters should be obvious. That will be an interesting avenue to pursue, especially from a primal craft perspective. It bears mentioning that three of these match with the Behenian Fixed Star list, with Fomalhaut being the exception. It is interesting to note that the Hyades lie directly behind Aldebaran – distinct from it, but easily noticeable, with that great star seeming to act as their current gatekeeper due to it’s position and prominence.

Procyon can be found tracing a line from Mintaka through Betelgeuse. This star is seen as a companion of Sirius, falling in the constellation of Canis Minor, and is also seen as a ‘Wolf’ star. Following a line through Rigel and Betelgeuse, the stars Castor and Pollux may be found, mythological twins which lie within the constellation Gemini.

Finally, those powerful, luminous, class B stars of immense stellar power that make up the sacred Pleiadean Gate may be found by following the path towards Aldebaran but continuing slightly further along the imaginary path. Here they appear as a dense cluster of stars, easily visible to the naked eye. These beautiful stars, who make up the circle of the sisters, are important for their protective powers that feature in the basic circle construction ritual that primal craft utilises.  These stars could form a whole entry on this blog themselves, so I will leave it by simply saying that, with Taurus / Auriga lying at the galactic anticentre, these stars lie directly in the path that takes us outside of our galaxy. As such, they therefore form a magickal channel of great power, to the interstellar void that lies beyond them. This lies in contrast with the power emitted from Sagittarius, where lies the pulsing heart of our Galaxy and that great stellar portal over which the Lord of the Dark Star holds claim.

I hope I have instilled in the reader the desire to explore this area further. The ease of which identification of these stars can be made lend them well to being a springboard for further investigation and work, especially when we consider how densely packed this area is with stellar lore and power. Thus we become blessed with greater knowledge of the stars, thus re-birthing our relationship with these stellar entities.

I end this entry with a single image that details the evolution of Orion. For the stars are not static, but are living breathing beings, which only an active approach can seek to reach with genuine and long lasting success.

Welcoming the Ivory Spider

The Gateway given by the Gods now stands successfully opened on the physical and spiritual planes. Directed by Belial and Lucifer over three separate rituals across an entire lunar cycle, the formula was given fully and the Stele of the Elemental Guardian and Guide constructed, carved deep into wood, inked in love, and filled with rivulets of blood in devotion.

This would be my first work in the medium of wood. However, even as I prepared the first lines, etching them deep into the surface of a birch end grain block, it became evident that it had been the correct choice. Each chiselled shape seemed to radiate power, the lines dancing across the vision. The process was kept simple. Using a basicc set of chisels, and a hammer, the outline was created and then enlarged to suit the icon given. Once completed, the lines were brought to life with a thin line of artist’s ink, which ran slowly throughout the prepared image.

The first ritual saw the Gate Sigil granted at the Temple Initiation pre-merged with the incredibly powerful Stellar Glyph to form the complete Gate. This symbol was blooded in the name of the Gods, with attention being given to its particular patron, as the work was commenced under the influence of the darkened New Moon.

In sexual magickal communion the Trident were called forth into the Flesh. With the invocational possessive state achieved, Belial took charge, merging with the Self. At the height of Sexual Communion, an explosion of energy up and through the spine and from the Sigil occured, for a split second resulting in the loss of awareness. After recovering, the voice of Belial could be heard, confirming the validity of the formula and the priming of the Gate via blood and bone.With one final act prompted by him, subtle visions of the Gate on the other planes could be seen, its surface now glowing a powerful and radiant silver. Lines of blue and gold energy ran across its surface as it opened slowly to reveal a dark recess through which no light penetrated, confirming the success of this first stage of the work.

Gradually, from the darkness, a sigil danced forth of a moon being split in twain by numerous receding dancing rectangles. This vision, although clear and calm, grew frustrating and maddening as the shapes danced into inconceivably impossible shapes within the mind’s eye. Soon however, as I calmed myself down with Belial and Lucifers aid, a distinct shape came into focus. Of a large, moonlike eye surrounded by astrological symbols in a web like shape. This sigil burned brightly, and Lucifers energy became more intense.

As this experience settled, the initial rite was closed with the Gods thanked for their assistance. Gnosis was given, the Gods indicating that the new granted sigil was to be etched into the other side of the block, and opened in the similar manner to the first on the night of the next Full Moon.

Again calling the Trident forth in ritual, this time Lucifer took a much greater role, elevating his energies to match that of Belials. As the new sigil was blooded, the Lord of Thaumiels energies could be felt, slowly enveloping the self in a strong and powerful energy. In the possessed state, Lucifer made it clear that the sigil was in fact the sigil of the Elemental Guardian. He hinted at its vast power, and mandated it be unlocked in the same manner as the gate of Belial itself, using Belials physically bestown gifts merged with his own current. This was carried out as directed, resulting in the seal brimming with energy, seemingly coming alive to the eyes.Continued sexual meditation saw the gate in bilocation glow with an intense energy, the gate now filled with a strange luminescent light. This energy came in waves, vibrating from low and subtle to high and overwhelming. Similar to the visions in the first ritual, the gate swung open.

From the darkness beyond, a great, white writhing mass thrust forth without delay, a startlingly chthonic emanation contrasting greatly with the stellar current that had been up to that point powerfully delivered through the gate itself. It rapidly grew in size and mass, spilling outwards into the cave area, assembling itself into various forms as it did so.First, it assumed the form of a gigantic, furred white serpent, with piercing amber eyes. This form was not ‘pure’ snake, being also possessed of many writhing centipede like tentacled legs. This form quickly shifted fully into a centipede, and before the senses could even adjust, it had transformed into a gigantic, arachnid like entity. This visage first merged through the guise of a spider, before proceeding to that of a gigantic, pincerless white furred scorpion. Its form settled there, as gigantic, white wings burst forth from its back, yellow eye upon yellow eye covering their surface. These looked not dissimilar from bat wings, but unlike a bat’s, were covered in large, beautiful white feathers. Upon its head the entity bore a large azure crystal inset into its flesh. Beyond this, further along its back, its primary sigil was evidently marked upon its flesh. Like the gate, its entire being let off a startlingly powerful stellar current despite its appearance.

With the being having presented itself, and no warnings or feelings of insidious intent detected by myself or indicated by Lucifer and Belial, it was invited into the physical flesh to take part in the communion. It obliged readily, coming into the form.Even as it did so any clear vision of the cave itself dissolved, instead replaced with images of this beings aura being superimposed over my own form. I began to feel the spine beginning to curve as the energy levels heightened further. Suddenly, without any prior warning, a very intense vision of this entity stabbing one of its appendages deep into my stomach, continuing on up into the ribcage, filled my entire being. My physical, mental and spiritual form contracted reflexively as it deposited something within the soul body, and I began to thrash violently. This lasted for several, tense seconds, resulting in a total loss of bodily control. The pain suddenly ceased, and the presence of the entity was replaced by that of Belial, stepping in to moderate the flow of energy from the contact.

At this point my awareness shifted back towards my physical form, and I could hear my own voice now, repeating an unknown mantra. A repeating pattern of four distinct words that seemed to resonate with the same pattern of the encountered entity. The entities presence could still be felt subtlety, and it began to communicate, first in images and then by voice. It confirmed the mantra was its words of power, and identified itself primarily with one of them, the final one, as its name. It referred to itself by a title, ‘The Ivory Spider’, and related its task as a Primary Guide, Protector and Pathfinder on the road to Middle Road Ascension, revealing stellar gnosis for assimilating both sides of the tree.

The second ritual was closed as the first. Over the proceeding two weeks further gnosis and communication was had with the entity outside of any active ritual workings. This consisted of contact not just with the entity but information released via the injected venoms themselves. Flashes and sigils depicting this process were released clearly to the conscious mind. The venoms could be seen congealing around the soul, wrapping around and infusing deep into its makeup.

A third ritual to settle the process was requested via the entity. To fully create the finished gate, the entity instructed that the four words of power, including the word of its primary name, were to be written around the edge of the block in a widdershins fashion in the Theban alphabet, each word being blooded individually and invoked from within the constructed circle. From this, as communion was taken at the level of the flesh, the Ivory Spider disclosed more.

Initially this was knowledge pertaining to the middle pillar, and the uniting of both life and death on a Stellar Path of Ascent. The entity made clear the extent of neglect of the Paths of the Stars by Man in the current age, detailing how now few travel or attempt to earth Stellar Currents, compared to ages in our past that could be considered relatively recent. The entity described itself as a pathfinder and guide along these pathways, describing how it also maintains and spins new connections.

Of most importance, the entity gave advice to finish existing, grounding works, before work with Belial and Lucifer himself should be undertaken, under Hecate and its own watchful eye, to initiate the beginnings of these powerful soul transmutative rites.

The entity was not only supportive, but confirmed planned work with granting the primary familiar a body was of importance; The entity heavily indicated that this will be of great importance in providing a physical grounding, assisting greatly in the forthcoming rites which channel these stellar currents. It is to be noted here the importance of a physical anchoring point. This fact is one that is often overlooked, even though it is of utmost importance to the work. Their successful construction is one that becomes mirrored through every realm when worked correctly. The entity in its own words was adamant that the ‘triad’ of the gateway stele, as well as both familiars was complete before any further work commenced on the path to ensure correct balance in the self. Whether integral to the work itself or simply a personal step needing completed before the new path is walked was not disclosed.

With discourse and communion finished, the entity withdrew, and the completed Stele of the Ascending Gateway of Belial and Lucifer was wrapped in black silk, tied with red cord, and placed into the guarding and waiting hands of the empowered doll familiar.

It is at this point an honest word must be said. These works will be powerful, and due to their innate nature, contain sensitive information and not everything can be disclosed immediately onto the blog. As such what can be shared will need to be limited until this part of the path is walked to its conclusion, the gnosis assimilated, and the Watchers give license for it to be disclosed in detail.

As always however, as much as can be shared openly will be made available via the blog, so the path can be illustrated as a guide to others.
